RESTAURANTS

Our recommendation is for you to discover local restaurants and indulge the French cuisine with all its specialties from the area of Bordeaux and Perigord. Wine and food parring goes “hand in hand” and around Pujols you can enjoy every level, from good simplicity to advanced French cuisine. For most restaurants we advise you to book in advance, especially in the height of the summer season.

The French lunch is always served between midday 12h00 and 13h30 Most kitchens close at 14h00. Dinner usually served from 19h30.

Below, we have recommended some local restaurants and divided them into a 3-price category with 3 being the most expensive.

Category 1:

This is an incredible view over the Dordogne River. Very relaxed and with a lovely, comfortable terrace. A nice up and down walk from Pujols or 15 minutes by car. The chef is Irish, and she has a super style. The meals vary with the seasons and from traditional French to Asian inspired summer and more Irish winter style. On Friday evenings, among others, they serve very good fish and chips.
